Tale of Bang
#2: Half Past Never
Money now means nothing to the world,
I know now I’d give it all up for a girl.
And even though there’s nothing left for me,
I told you that I still had a beautiful world to see.
Bravery isn’t a factor in what’s left here.
I no longer understand the feeling of fear.
In my head, your voice is all I hear,
and when I close my eyes, I can still see you shed that last, single, tear.
In my heart where our hopes once hung,
I can only wish I wasn’t young.
