my eyes are sore from sour
tears
my heart is sick of
this

my hopes hide beneath my
fears
my life is too full of
this

maybe there's something
special
in never
knowing

but there's nothing
exciting
in never
learning

i always jump too
soon
fall, and hurt
myself

there is no climbing out
of these
situations

my smile, i'm sure, is wearing
out
my patience is fading
slowly

won't someone
please
throw me a rope?
