Distant object
that has caught
a young child's fancy

not so foreign;
an old friend
rediscovered

That young child
suddenly grows
into a loving
young adult

Not so foreign,
Not so distant,
New familiarity,
Old aquantances
Renewed

"If I've thought
of any reason to stay
that reason would surely be you"

"Yes,you can keep me.
Always and forever
