Love Lifted
Auburn studded kisses
Touch ruby-red lips
While the leaves turned
To colors that matched her love
An endless dance
Of wind and whims
Ran to leave leaves colorful
Yet blind
Hot days and cool nights
Left them with love to find
Seamless threads left
And leave no ends
And there's no stopping time
Clocks click forward
Fast and toward
What seems like no end
But life is short
Colors blend
Hearts merge
And feelings purge
But this love lives on
With no end
