remember that night
when the wind rattled the house
and all the lights
went out
remember how
I stole your jacket
well
you offered it
but then I wouldn't give it back
that night I had to kiss you
to shut you up
my smile breaking over your words
you did
eventually
stop talking
I miss you
and though I see you every day
you will never truly
see me
again
