Reach your hand around,

Feel the rough unfamiliar walls

When did the lights

Turn this low

Retrace your steps

To this steep Abyss

What led you to this

misfits home

Remember your promise

The sensation you foresaw

When did you fall

So astray

Release inhibitions

That have trapped you before

What was once ashes

Shall seize the day

The author's comments:
I wanted to write about the slump that everyone eventually finds themselves in. There's a point in your life where you look around and realize that you never did quite end up where you were wanted to. This poem however is meant to be inspirational, and signify that no matter how things end up, you can always make this right again.
