After The Breakup

The love is gone,
as quickly as a cat’s yawn.
I told him this,
and now I feel like I am falling into an abyss.
To know that I hurt him so bad,
it makes me really sad.
I thought love would be simple,
but now it is done,
and it’s him that I miss.
But in the end I’m glad,
that we shared the love we once had.
