The Dark Tear
So small, almost invisible
A tear lurks in the corner
Not needed as I do not cry
And not wanted cuz I do not want it
It itches to be set free from my heart
While I keep to compose a smile
Hoping no one to notice the tear
That wants to start a riot inside
I will not lose face right now
Letting the tear win is inexcusable
Seeing me down on my knees – balling
Is something the tear dreams up
May the tear be locked in for eternity
So no one sees me in such a depressing state
This tear wants to let my emotions be known
As I want to hid and lock them up
Maybe one day it flows out of me
Bit it will come out silent and unnoticed
I hope that day shall never come
But who knows when ‘its’ in me – the dark tear
