the rush

i got caught up in the rush.
i got stopped and i got crushed.
i had you until that last cold night.
pushed aside, but it's alright.
i should've been done for awhile now.
but the sight of you it's torture now.
knowing that you like her, not me.
it hurts, pretty bad actually.
feelings, secrets, thoughts, caught up.
but i'm the worst.
caught up in the rush.
