Rifle held at his eye
Trembling in his grasp
Stains of red splatters cover his torn uniform
A deep scar slashes across his forlorn face

The bullet spurts out
Like a soft, silent kiss good-bye
Slicing into the heart of an unknown man

Seconds keep flashing by
Croaks form the toad continue to sing into the air
The ants continue their busy work
The sun rays weep over the lifeless body
Tears pouring through
As if the body
Wasn't there
