Wild Ocean
I stand at the shore line
The bubbly foam crashes against my fragile feet
The waves slither upon the surface
And clamor with one another
The whistling breeze catches my hair
And lets it dance freely in the wind
No one beside me
Just my fear
I wait for you here
You never change
You never come
You are like the jagged rocks on the surface of the sea
So beautiful
But so broken
So wrong
I will wait until you come
And we can make footprints in the sand
Be strong
Take my chilled hand
We can walk through this wild ocean together
I’ll wait.
