Dark Illumination
Dark Illumination
I look up at the millions of stars,
All lined up in certain patterns so I can make up constellations.
The silvery harvest moon gives us light,
So we may also see in the pitch-black darkness.
As the beautiful night fades away,
The beautiful day takes its position.
As the silvery moon sets in the west,
The bright orange sun rises in the east.
I look up at the bright orange sun,
Only being able to see it for a second.
I lie down and watch,
As the puffy white clouds slowly hover over my head.
As the beautiful day fades away,
The beautiful night takes its position.
As the bright orange sun sets in the west,
The silvery moon rises in the east.
I look up at the night sky,
Where dark gray clouds are levitating over me, preparing me for what’s to come.
I stand in the middle,
Of what seems like a never-ending blessing of wonder.
As the beautiful night fades away,
The beautiful day takes its position.
As silvery moon sets in the west,
The bright orange sun rises in the east.
I watch the birds,
As they glide with their brilliant, resplendent, outspread wings.
I look at the bunch of multi-colored trees around me,
As their colored leaves sway with the wind.
I watch the sunset take place,
Watching the magnificent light orange color glow in what seems like the edge of earth.
Then I turn and look at the other side,
Where the marvelous silvery moon rises to give light to dark.
