I Am Me
To the girl in front of my parents, I am a nuisance.
To the girl who goes to the doctor often, I am a medical nightmare.
To the girl who blends in at school, I am just another teen.
To the girl who needs to work for this to work, I am a partner.
To the girl that only wants attention, I am a child.
To the girl who lives with no other children, I am a best friend.
To the girl who needs to make decisions, I am a weapon to be used at will.
To the girl who cannot stand the weight of adulthood on her shoulders, I am an agent on death row.
To the girl who constantly looks in the mirror, I am an image of my mother.
I have many sides,
Each one hidden deep inside.
Waiting for the right time
Until I need something new from me.
But there's only one me.
Who am I, really?
I am Anonymous.
Just your average teen.
