As the Words Shaped
As the words shaped and formed,
hot white steel on a forge
gravity was abolished
as his pen looped and spun
He flew up past the trees
feeling completely serene
finding himself greeted by clouds
He rose onward
carried by the win he moved
finding stars as he found night
like a weight pressing down
he started to feel
the tangible darkness
a snaking black eel
as it coiled around him
he remembered one thing
