I am chipping away
like a rock by the sea.
I am chipping away
soon I will cease to be.
I am chipping away
like the polish on a finger.
I am chipping away
and don’t know why I linger.
Stop me from chipping away
I don’t want to go.
Where I'll end up
I'll never know.
