The sword in the Prince’s hand
sliced the dragons throat,
leaving
sticky
poisonous
blood, everywhere
He drops the sword
looking at the castle that
towers over him
He goes to the entrance,
walks up the cold
stone
stairs
and approaches her bed chamber
She wasn’t beautiful, like he had heard,
but she was pretty
He walked over,
Brushed back her
fiery red hair,
and kissed her
rosy lips
The next thing he knew, she was choking,
turning blue,
and the last words she choked out were
“I hate you.”
He looked at her lip, and
there it was
a drop of poisonous dragon blood
Whoops…

Ever thought about what would happened if the Prince made a stupid mistake?
