Stars glimmer
Sound of water
All can hear
Moonlight shone down
Illuminating
Casting light
On darkened places
Quiet forest
Realm of peace
Flowers close
To say goodnight
Crickets play their harmony
Water sings it’s melody
Mist of night shimmers now
Falling down like fairy dust
Silver gleam
On water’s edge
True reflection
Mirrored here
Leaves fall
Water ripples
All is calm
On this quiet summer’s night
