"Wherever you go, go with all your heart."

Darkness
a light at the end of the tunnel,
glowing tentatively, beckoning silently,
heart wanting, gravity pulling,
conquest,
the fight of all fights,
the war of all wars,
chase.

Soldiers at the front line,
cars on the track,
souls roaring for their missing piece,
bolting, harsh, smooth,
moving as one, journey to the prize,
to the end.

Time cries,
desperation, longing, confused,
why are we doing this?
Doubt your heart
and become cursed with pain,
old Grandfather on the wall flames in agony,
helpless.

At last.
Contact.

Violence, lust,
hatred, desire,
hiding inside, bursting out,
clashing forces.

Lightning
torches my flesh, blackens my every surface.
I love it.

One glorious power,
shattered to dust,
fixed,
shattered,
fixed,
shattered.

Power, the absolute search,
finding,
victory,
united in every way, blinding light,
burning every inch of skin, heating every breath.

Then, the end of the pursuit, the strength of resistance weakened to nothing,
giving in to lust, fervor,
undeniable, uncontrollable heat,
closer is the gap between us,
closer,
closed.

Flawless love, flawed,
stable love, unpredictable,
destroyed.
Your light wavers, eclipsed by my darkness,
I shadow you entirely,
the tunnel growing darker,
black.

I loved you.
