But So Long
But so long as I may attribute
All of the follies I'm won't to do,
the errors of my young ways,
And my blasphemous points of view.
All my un-aged liberal tendencies,
Being blunt, unrefined, uncouth,
And all my colossally small failures
To the malady of youth
For one day I'll have to mature,
And at least pretend to be wise
And accept my failings with honour,
Though we know it's all just a guise.
