The Argument
Their voices dance in the stuffy air:
Two incessant tones tangoing in circles.
They are getting nowhere
With their abrasive/disrespectful
Brawl.
I can hear his heavy, esoteric voice
Shudder with conviction.
He is sometimes irascible.
Her voice skips skip across his petulance
With ease, as she pirouettes around him,
Tying him in knots with her farcical logic.
I wonder which one of them will break and fall,
Which one will become a mere casing of an vibrant dancer.
I won't have to wait long.
