I feel a battle raging within me
You caused me so much pain
Yet, I steal love you
We don’t talk anymore
Not after what you did
But I find myself asking about you
Our friends are torn between you and me
I tried so hard and forgave so much
Just to be with you
But no matter how much I love you
It will never bring us back together.
I fear that as I lay on my death bed
Your name will be on my lips
Because even though you hurt me
I will love you for all eternity
