Forever in our Hearts

I tried to stay strong for you
But I broke down crying
I couldn’t stand to see your face
I set the teddy bear down
And cried in my brothers arms
My world shattered when I said goodbye
My world is never gonna be the same
How could this have happened?
I seen you a week ago, but I didn’t know you would leave
I seen you crying but I couldn’t cry
Now as I stand here, tears falling from my eyes
Thoughts come to my mind
I know you went to a better place
And I know you were suffering down here
I just still can’t believe your gone
But your memories will live on in our hearts forever.

I can completely connect with this article of poetry, my grandfather just passed away of cancer about a month ago and it is still fresh in my mind. I really do love this passage and all I haVE TO SAY IS TO KEEP WRITING.

It feels like you released a lot of emotions, emotions I couldn't and still haven't released about the the death of a close one. So wonderful job on such an amazing peice of work and for expressing how you felt in that situation. This truely inspires me.
