The child inside me begs“Mommy please don’t do it.Please just stay home."
But she grabs her beers and goes.
I can’t be alone.
Why can’t she ever just think about me?
I need her in my life and she is nowhere to be found.
The adult inside me says to leave.
Be mature and abandon her.
Start a new chapter in your life.
Don’t even think about looking at that knife.
But the daughter inside me tell me not to go,
She needs me more then I could ever know.
