It's the beauty of youth
Yet the ugliness, too
You have an easy recovery
But the pain hurts like a steel-toed shoe

Your smile is bright
Your heart is alive
Someone shows up
And they catch your eye

But with youth is ignorance
Something impossible to miss
Because before you are old and wise
You must first be young and full of bull s***.
