Dresser Drawer
In my dresser drawer you will find, things I forgot and left behind
And in the cupboard you will see, tea leaves to brew for comforting.
Up above the rain still falls, down below the glass, it grows.
My hair flows south as I walk north, in a dance with winds
Winds whispering, “Promise you will remember me. “
I’ll wear my layers as proud as pure flesh but I’ll never use them in a hiding attempt.
