Walking past cotton candy sunsets,
trying to forget past regrets,
figuring out how to let the dust set.

I need to learn to just
break free,
find a new world for you
and me,
the air swirling with perfect

trinity.

I was sitting at a lake in my town as the sun was setting, and I realized the sun turned the colors of the sky into the shades of pink and blue cotton candy... the rest just poured out of me.
