My Sweet Sacrifice
Anything is better than to be alone,
Darling, just take your hit, but don’t let it show
And in the end I guess I had to fall,
I can’t hold onto me,
I wonder what’s wrong with me,
Don’t want to lock me up on the inside,
Stay in love with me,
My sweet lithium, stay here with me so I don’t die,
Or take your hit but hide the sacrifice.
You know you live to break me, don't deny,
I'm gonna forget your name one day, and one sweet day you're gonna drown in my lost pain
It’s true; we’re all a little insane on the inside
But I am unchained,
Lost in my grave, I wonder all the time,
Day and night, there is no end
Can’t this be what you wanted?
Set your guilt free, don’t blame it on me, nothing can hold you back now
Grieving the things I can’t repair,
I won’t lie to keep you near me, I will not change whom I am,
But this is taking over me and this is the end.
And in this short life, love wasn’t enough
Deaths fate was all I had,
But to give away, I could not find
This is my sweet sacrifice
