Together we are the front pictures of our parent’s scrapbook.
Together we are a bag of skittles, sweet and sour at the same time.
Together we are a rainbow after a morning shower.
Together we are the punch line to every joke, if life was a comedy.
Together we are the most brilliant petals on a flower, if there was a flower that reached as high as the sun.
Together we form an irrevocable friendship.
Together we are the dreams and hopes of our ancestors.
Together we are the lighthouse to forsaken ships.
We are sisters and together we must see it through.

I dedicate this poem to my sister and lifelong best friend. I love you, little sis.
