I Scream

My screams throughout the night
Would send shivers down your back with fright.
I scream until I have no more air.
But it doesn’t matter because no one cares.
I scream and scream again from pain,
and because I cannot be tamed.
I scream throughout the night,
And bleed into the day
And when night comes this vicious cycle will begin again.
I scream.
I Wail.
But at least I don’t cut myself.
