I wish I could know the right thing to say
Words stumble over each other and get in the way
Actions speak louder, but I don't know if you'll care
I want to do something, but I really don't dare
If you could show me just one little sign
It would brighten my day and I would be fine
But if you decide to stay as you are
You will still be, to me, a shooting star
Shining bright in the dark, I can wish on you
and maybe then I will know what to do
