The Aftermath
All I can think now
Is to try and keep you by
But it seems that fate tears us apart
I forgive you for your indiscretions
But you never forget my acts
As you continue to push me away
Love and lust is not a game to be played
By the childish
Or the weak
You blame me for everything that has been done
You act as if I crystallized you
Creating a being who is infinite
You are the one who immobilizes me
Hiding behind your mask
Afraid to show what you are
Shoving your beliefs
Numbing me, so I can forget
Everything that I used to be
