Purpose
July 30, 2010
I will do
whatever it takes
No matter the cost
to get what I want
to get what I need
and sure, you've never even heard of me
but one day
I hope you will
because to write
Is my purpose
'It's too foolish'
say the others
'You can't know what you want to do'
but it creeps in my bones
ghosts in my dreams
and whispers my name
until I can't live without knowing
I want to write
to tell stories
I want to paint pictures made of words
I want ink to give freedom
I want all to see and
to hear and
to know

You have a wonderful and inspiring dream. This poem was a good start to it. I love the fervent passion with which it was written.
