Autumn and Spring, Life and Death,

I admire the withering of life
And find the beauty in pain and strife.
You admire a life, reborn, renewed.
The happy things, the sappy things,
Drawn in the crude.
The frost that covers the once green grass,
Reminds us of one day our breath will not last.
I am the night and you are the mourn’
You stitch together what I’ve mercilessly torn.
The end and beginning, beginning and end.
I break what you’ve put together again.
My skies are grey and your skies are blue.
Eye to eye, we’ll never see through.
