Your Apology
Tell me what is an apology
But words that people say
Things they don’t truly mean
You can save your sorry
It’s too late for your apology
You took my heart
And crushed it like a soda can
Took my forgiveness for granted
Because of you I can’t trust
I’m scared to give myself
Fully to someone new
All because of you
Keep your apology
It’s meaningless to me
You say you’re sorry
But do you even know
What you’re sorry for?
Are you sorry for all
The tears you brought to my eyes?
All the times you lied
How you took my innocence away?
How you broke my heart?
Tell me, what are you sorry for?
Let me tell you what I’m sorry for
I’m sorry for ever trusting you
I’m sorry for telling you my secrets
And most of all I’m sorry for loving you
I deserve so much better then you
So you can keep your apology
It’s meaningless to me
Just like you.
