Timed
Colorless butterflies
An ocean with no waves
This world’s secret lies
Hiding in dark caves
Minutes pass by,
Time nothing saves,
And red was the sky,
Even to the braves
What is really under the graves?
That chills your insides
Is it the reminder of your pledge
That comes out from their sides?
And your heartbeat you’d like to pause
Starts sounding like a clock
That awaits you with sharp jaws
At the end of the walk
Through this world we stroll,
Looking inside for our soul,
A proof there is something more
That awaits us at the other side of the door
When breaths are counted
Your life goes by,
Your dreams are haunted,
With a darkening sky
