Throw the meadows,?
We leap with joy?.
All we need, ?our favorite toy,??

These are the days,
?We wish to keep
?These are the days
?That make us weep??

We have our memories,?
But soon to see,
?Nothing will last?
For all of thee.

The author's comments:
This poem is about remembering your childhood, and how there was nothing really big to worry about (well, besides toys, and kissing boys) and how everything has changed for a lot of people. You're bff is dating your crush or ex, everyone's dieting because of body images, you need a job, parents bring you into there problems, someone you know is suicidal or cuts, etc. Then all you want to do is go back to the past.
