a ghost of my past
echoing footsteps syncing
with each breath taken
now to be forgotten
the whistling wind
brushing past
memories swept away
from the barriers lifted, now vanishing
can't ear to see you gone
my love, my friend
my only
you let go, but i have
you at my fingertips
grasping for one more
embrace
never to let you fade
staying alone with
my ghost an immortal
that will
never
die
