"Your talk is prattle in this vocab battle." Tyson Spencer

Memories churn
Oh how they burn!
For now, we lie and wait
or our pain to sate
the echoes cry havoc
the echoes tear
the echoes rend
and leave me bare
crying on the floor
wishing someone to open the door
to my heart once again
and heal all that is rend
hear my voice
see my tears
lift my spirit
with your voice in my ears

The author's comments:
Okay, the title is a little weird, and I had to talk with a friend about it. It means that the memories cut of the flow to my heart, killing me slowly and painfully.
