Cheating, No Compromise, Secrets, and Reality

Can you understand my anger,
Or are you that blind?
Can you understand betrayal,
Or are you still wondering why?
This is an everlasting fight,
We hurt each other with poisoned words,
There is no stop, no compromise,
We can't ignore what we've heard.
Our paranoid lies cover our truths,
hidden by lame excuses and fears,
Fake words and acts so easy to use,
You can't hide secrets from your peers.
And now we face reality,
Cold, unreal, yet somehow clear,
Don't look down with self-pity,
Lift your head and show your leer.
