In the aftermath of sparkling conversations
of scientific equations brought to life by
dancing nimble-footed pyromaniacs,
This summer Monday felt inevitably
incredibly normal.
high 80 degree measurements in
sunbaked winds breezing past
barely clad legs
crisp vegetables dressed in ranch
uniform alongside personalized
pressed pairs of slightly-white bread slices
sandwiching turkey, chicken or ham slabs
inbetween
later,
a dark blanket reveals a multitude
of bright pinholes
that dance through
distant galaxies of averageness.
