Underneath it all,
behind my calm facade,
I am just a little girl.
Remove my make-up,
My fancy clothes,
And you will see the person
No one really knows.
I am timid,
I am scared,
I have ideas
To be shared.
I have hopes
And I have dreams
And it is this
that gives me wings.

The author's comments:
When writing this, I was thinking about how much of a front I tend to put up. I cake on the makeup, powder over my faults, and dumb my self down. No one really knows all my thoughts, ideas, and creations but me. Those things are what make me who I am, an unique individual.
