Don't Give Up
The sky is a somber blue ,
full of hopes and miracles and things that
might come true.
Up in the sky with angels ,
they are the truth-seekers.
Filled with wisdom , opportunitys and chance.
" You are one in a million." , they seem
to bellow.
But your attempts to be that special
someone , end up trying to swallow you up ,
leaving nothing but a worn-out , shallow
core.

And then ,
alone in the world ,
strangers in a human race
looking for a friend , waiting for a miracle
in the depths of solitude.

But then again , there is
always a light at the end
of the tunnel . . .
