Puppets...
With their strings pulled tight
Determining every move they make,
They follow because
There is no other option
Robots...
With their metallic shell
And clanking parts
Follow only because
They were programmed to do so
Animals...
With their mindless habits
And soulless bodies
Follow because
They have no awareness
Humans...
With a beating heart pumping life,
And a living, eternal soul
Follow because
They were given a choice,
Because they love
Because they desire
...or they do not...
