Welling up
Sliding down my cheek
These tears are for you
I shed them but
They just come back
These tears are for you

My arms embrace you
On your return
This smile is for you
Too

I cannot help but feel good
When I am around you
This laugh is for you
Too

So nice to be with you
Like the good old times
Now I am laughing
And smiling
And crying too
But these tears are of
Happiness

But all good things must come
To an end
Your visit is over
You must go home
And these tears of sadness
Are for you once again
