Lust might be counted in inches;
Love is only regarded in miles.
They will tell you it is that which cannot be measured;
Do actions speak? – They do.
Do whispers scream? – They can.
Memories the glass, let emotions be the ticks.
If love cannot be measured, it mustn't be precise
But love is exact, love is not faulty.
It is the bitter deliverance that can make you fly, make you fall,
Make you laugh, make you sigh.
Lust might be regarded in inches;
Love is only regarded in miles.
