If I stand here long enough,
what will happen to me?

Will I simply never leave,
will I stand here always
and forever?

If I stand here long enough,
what will happen to me?

Will someone take notice of me,
this lost little girl,
standing here?

If I stand here long enough,
what will happen to me?

Will I have a revelation,
a bright idea of sorts?

If I stand here long enough,
what will happen to me?

Will I simply stand here,
forever,
fade away into the walls?

If I stand here long enough,
what will happen to me?

I love this, and I agree: the repitition of the words was a nice touch to the poem. Ironically, standing in one place and watching the world pass by can be very moving.
