Give me roses.
Flowers
Red with life,
Filled with blood,
Drenched in love,
Picked at their youth.
Don’t cut yourself,
Trying to pluck the perfect
Buds.
Because the perfections of today
Will wilt before tomorrow.
Preserve them,
Fill a crystal vase
With water,
Sparkling among green
Lives.
Just know,
No rose lasts forever.
