One side says:
Give up.
They just keep hurting you.

The other side says:
Smile.
Just hold back tears and,
Walk away.

I am fighting myself,
The first side wants me to stop.
It wants me to pull away from the world,
To think everything hurts.

I am fighting myself.
The second side wants me to breathe.
To smile, to pretend i am fine,
To just walk away and move on.

I don't know which side to pick.
I am somewhere in the middle.
Between them both.
