Ocean Waves

I breathe in and out, in and out,
I flow over the grains of sand, over again.
Swirling and twirling, weaving and waving
I move here, there, and everywhere.

Fish and plants teem around me
As I move around the earth.
But their lives also depends on me
To keep their life’s worth.

I also depend on them,
To keep me clean and pure.
We rely on each other
So we can endure.

I breathe in and out, in and out,
I flow over the grains of sand, over again.
Swirling and twirling, weaving and waving
I move here, there, and everywhere.

Light reflects off of me
Creating heavenly shimmers.
Rays flow through my surface
Like the sunlight through the clouds.

Down, down, and further you go
To reach my bottom, where no light shows.
That is where the shadows descend,
But still life does not end.

I breathe in and out, in and out,
I flow over the grains of sand, over again.
Swirling and twirling, weaving and waving
I move here, there, and everywhere.

Peace is in the silence around me
As I flow to the corners of the earth.
But if you listen hard enough,
You can hear me heart beating.

I breathe in… out…
In… out

I have always loved writing poems about nature and i really connected with this one. It may not be as good to you, but it's perfect to me. It's random and also has a pattern just like the ocean.
