Time and I

I want to wrap my arms around a clock tower
and make it fall asleep.
Just for a few minutes,
Maybe hours.
I could stop my bones from growing,
My blood from flowing,
My arms from reaching,
My heart from beating,
I could blink, open my eyes,
And the world wouldn't have changed
a bit.
